At the Royal Oak Music Theatre on June 5, 2010, and for the second time in three years, STATE CHAMPS! High School Sports Show was awarded a Michigan EMMY award for outstanding television. The story they did in January 2009 on the Wyandotte Roosevelt Marching Band, and their playing at the presidential inauguration, was named the Best Youth and Teen Feature. See the video here.
